Dedicated to developing young athletes through professional coaching and a supportive community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to grow youth lacrosse in the Santa Clarita Valley. We are not a club team. We welcome all skill levels and we promote respect, integrity and team unity.

The SCVYLA Blackhawks are not associated with any specific high school program. We support all of the local high school teams and encourage all of them to be involved with the youth program.

Seasons:

The upcoming spring season will start in January. We are continuing our partnerships with the Southern California Lacrosse Association (SCLA) and Pacific Edge Lacrosse Association (PELA) for league play.

Practices:

The practice schedule varies by coach and age however you can expect practices to be held several days a week at Central Park.

We are beyond excited about our spring season and the future of lacrosse in the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding areas! Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments and/or concerns. We have an open door policy and we believe that transparency is the key to success. Board meetings are held monthly and all parents are welcome to attend.
